Server drives — NVMe to nearline, tray-correct

Enterprise SSDs and HDDs that arrive in the right OEM carriers with aligned firmware — because a drive without its tray is a paperweight in a hot-swap bay.

Frequently asked questions

Why do OEM trays matter so much?

Hot-swap bays need the vendor's carrier and firmware handshake; generic drives without trays either don't mount or throw persistent warnings. We ship tray-correct variants by default.

Read-intensive or mixed-use — how do I choose?

RI (≈1 DWPD) covers most virtualization and analytics; databases and write-heavy logs deserve mixed-use (≈3 DWPD). We size by your daily write volume, not by catalog defaults.

Can you match drives to an existing RAID group?

Yes — same model/firmware matching for expansions where the controller is picky; nearest-equivalent with migration notes where originals are EOL.

Do you supply drives for storage arrays too?

Yes — array-specific drives with NetApp/Dell/HPE carriers, covered on the storage page.
